As part of the ongoing #AllDifferentAllEqual Campaign the Youth Voice Groups joined forces to hold a bake sale at Central Bedfordshire's Council Offices in Chicksands on the 25th October 2018.
The young people from the different Youth Voice groups in Central Bedfordshire (Youth Central, Youth Parliament, and Children's & YP's Board) came together to help sell some of the #AllDifferentAllEqual merchandise and some freshly baked cakes. Many of the young people gave up their time having just arrived back from a 3 day residential, so although VERY tired, the young people raised money and awareness of this important campaign.
The #AllDifferentAllEqual Campaign was launched in line with 2017’s key issue in the Make your Mark ballot, and we raised just under £180 at this event, which will go towards providing support and social groups for LGBTQ+ young people.
